I have built and sold my own non-certified public accounting business.  I have performed many financial functions from Controller to Cost analyst.  Through the years I have been able to work with most aspects of computer related activities including programming, software, web sites, blogs, wikipedias and office production/efficiency related activities.  I read books to learn new skills.

I have worked in industries as diverse as:

• Equipment leasing
• Boutique investment banking
• Manufacturing
• Leasing

I am most satisfied when working on projects or situations where my Excel and Access skills can shine.

Most of my experience has been in hands-on situations where I have performed a number of accounting and finance related tasks.  I enjoy working with people.

I enjoy reading, learning about new productivity software and playing my trumpet.

I am a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BS degree in Philosophy.  My main areas of study were Philosophy and Chemistry.

Following graduation I completed an additional 50 plus hours in finance, and 2 years of CPA firm experience.  I completed the CMA examination and am a member of the IMA.
